Crooked Creek Baseline Aquatic Monitoring, Alaska

This study was intended to provide baseline data for monitoring and assessment of potential impacts to fish and stream habitat resulting from the development of the Donlin Creek gold mine deposit. Components of the study included electrofishing, fish traps, aerial salmon surveys, macroinvertebrate sampling, and fish tissue metals analysis. From 2010 to 2012, RedFISH staff conducted fish and habitat surveys, compiled and analyzed data, and prepared comprehensive technical reports.
