Great Salt Lake Minerals – U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Environmental Impact Statement

Environmental Impact Statement prepared in support of a Section 404 Individual Permit Application for the expansion of solar evaporation ponds into jurisdictional waters adjacent to the Great Salt Lake. From 2008 to 2010, RedFISH staff characterized existing conditions of the aquatic environment and assessed potential effects of the pond expansion proposed by the Great Salt Lake Minerals Corporation. Conducted fish and invertebrate surveys and assisted with the assessment of impacts on water quality, water circulation, and the overall aquatic ecology of the Great Salt Lake. Prepared for USACE.
