Fish Populations in Streams Affected by a Proposed Well Pad Road in the Eastern National Petroleum Reserve Area. North Slope, Alaska.

The main objective of this baseline investigation was to obtain information on composition and seasonal distribution of fish populations in the Ublutuoch River near Nuiqsut, Alaska. This assessment was intended to evaluate potential development effects including potential effects of the construction of stream crossings on fish populations. The study, conducted for ConocoPhillips Alaska, consisted of fyke net sampling, mark-recapture population estimates, and measurements of water quality during three sampling periods: immediate post-break up, mid-summer, and late summer. Under contract with MJM Research, RedFISH provided technical expertise and support for the surveys conducted during the 2013 field season.
