Eastern and western Beaver County vegetation mapping and noxious vegetation treatment. Iron and Beaver County, Utah (2020-2021)

RedFISH provided environmental support services for the BLM. This contract involved mapping and treatment of noxious vegetation thoughout BLM administered lands within the area of the Cedar City Field Office. The project area encompassed over 2,100 acres. Tasks under this contract included reviewing existing data, mapping new populations, treatments, and changes in population sizes using the BLM National Invasive Species Information Management System (NISIMS). RedFISH also treated noxious plant infestations according to standard operating procedures, mitigation measures, and conservation measures; treatment reports were prepared daily. ESRI software was used to collect GIS data and facilitate data sharing and reporting. The project area encompassed steep rugged terrain accessible with off road vehicles, ATV/UTV, and/or foot travel.
