Dungeness River Habitat Surveys, Washington.

The objective of this project was two-fold. First, to assess current stream habitat conditions and provide data to help identify reaches and side channels with adequate fish habitat for rearing and/or spawning. And second, to identify reaches with degraded conditions that could be targeted to implement stream restoration projects. Detailed fish habitat assessments were conducted along the mainstem and perennial side channels of the Dungeness River using standardized survey procedures. This project was implemented by RedFISH under contract with the Jamestown S’Klallam Tribe.
